Singeing my face and fingers

Till I feel them scorching my nail tips.

Only it is not you

Nor your shadow

Just a coffee cup

And some memoriesā€¦

Nostalgic. Can feel the lost love in the lines. Powerful within the economy of words. Great going

Very nice Indrani Talukdar! I am starting to feel the warmth already as the steam from the coffee mug begins to engulf me and as I go through the different posts here on this blogspace. A nice warm start to my surfing venture here :-).

Thanks. I don’t believe we have exchanged notes earlier, have we?

No, we have not met or exchanged notes before. I came to this space through an invite from Shail. I apologise for I should have introduced myself before maybe. I am loving going through everybody’s posts. All of you seem to be a fantastic bunch of writing talent and it is a delight for people like me to spend some time here with my cuppa!
