One rainbow appears in the sky

Forms a bridge on earth so high,

Shines brightly with sundry shades

What a glimpse of fine display!

 …….

Another rainbow rises in my heart

To realize dreams, to guide my thoughts,

Shining brightly amid vagaries of reality

Streaked with sundry strands of humanity!

…….

The glowing radiance of their beams

Lights the face of gloomy sky,

The heart too illuminates my life

Which up till had been so dry!

 ………

A rainbow without and one within

Lend their power to you and me,

To advance as one- in leaps and bounds

To rise and shine with joy and crown!

……..

Two rainbows – harbinger of hope and glee

Though just a momentary find,

Stealing all the senses from you and me

Don’t they make us feel perfectly divine!

……..

Without disclaiming the past

Rekindling these present times

They set ablaze our passion to dream

For tomorrow’s happier times!
